This photograph shows my father The Very Reverend Professor Ian Campbell Bradley, Principal of St Mary’s College at the University of St Andrews with the then Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson MP.
Dad tells me Boris asked if he’d like to be in his cabinet — clearly thinking ahead — and he apparently replied “If you stay in Europe Boris, I’m your boy!”
The fact Mr Johnson was delayed at Edinburgh airport and almost missed his chance to vote in the referendum may or may not be related?
