Of all the places we visited in India on my first trip there, back in 2006 — Mumbai, Thane, Shimla, Kalka, Chandigarh, Agra, Amritsar, the Waga border with Pakistan, New Delhi, Jaipur, Raipur, Bhilai, Durg, Chennai, Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram and Aurangabad — I think my favourite was probably the beautiful Ellora & Ajanta Caves.
A UNESCOWorld Heritage Site, the 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments dating from the second century BCE to about 480 CE in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra.
It was also fun to take part in a spot of Bollywood filming up in the North of India…
